Luego de haber impresionado durante su estreno mundial en el Festival de Cine de Venecia, el musical LA LA LAND del director y guionista, Damien Chazelle, tuvo su estreno canadiense durante el Festival Internacional de Cine de Toronto (TIFF) el pasado lunes, 12 de septiembre. La película se presentó en el famoso auditorio, Roy Thompson Hall, donde estuvieron presentes los protagonistas, Emma Stone y Ryan Goslin; el director Damien Chazelle y parte del elenco secundario, compuesto por John Legend, J. k. Simmons y Rosemarie Dewitt.

LA LA LAND, como le llaman cariñosamente a la ciudad californiana de Los Ángeles, cuenta la historia de Sebastian (Gosling), un pianista de jazz que se enamora de Mia (Stone), una chica que quiere ser actriz en Los Ángeles. Ambos luchan para conseguir el éxito en una ciudad famosa por aplastar sueños y romper corazones.
El estreno de LA LA LAND en las salas de cine de Estados Unidos está programado para el 16 de diciembre del este año, luego de haberse presentado en varios festivales alrededor del mundo.
