Un día después de haberse entregado los Critics’ Choice Awards, la Asociación de la Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood anunció las nominaciones a los Globos de Oro. Los premios serán entregados el 8 de enero del 2017 durante una ceremonia en la que el comediante Jimmy Fallon servirá de anfitrión.

Para sorpresa de pocos, el musical LA LA LAND lidera la lista con siete nominaciones, incluyendo Mejor Película – Comedia o Musical y Mejor Director para Damien Chazelle. Sus protagonistas, Emma Stone y Ryan Gosling, también fueron incluidos en sus respectivas categorías.

Algunas notables ausencia lo son el sci-fi ARRIVAL, el cual solo consiguió una nominación el la categoría de Mejor Actriz para Amy Adams. SILENCE, la más reciente película del director Martin Scorsese, tampoco recibió nominaciones a pesar de haber recibido reseñas positivas tras haber sido develada a la crítica recientemente. Actualmente, la película cuenta con un 100% de críticas positivas en el portal Rotten Tomatoes y algunos la han declarado como la mejor película de Scorsese en años.

En la categoría de animación, el filme de Disney, ZOOTOPIA, es el favorito en una lista que también incluye títulos como KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS, MOANA y una de las más recientes, SING. Esta última tendrá su estreno en Puerto Rico el próximo miércoles, 21 de diciembre.
