El domingo en la noche, el Sindicato de Productores escogió la mejor película del 2013, uno de los galardones clave en la etapa final de la ruta hacia los premios Oscar, a entregarse el domingo 2 de marzo en el Samuel Goldwyn Theatre de Beverly Hills, California.

En un suceso sin precedentes, el Darryl F. Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of a Theatrical Motion Picture terminó en un empate entre los filmes “12 Years a Slave” y “Gravity”, una doble sorpresa para aquellos que esperaban una victoria para “American Hustle” de David O. Russell, cuya victoria en los Premios del Sindicato de Actores (SAG) la colocó el sábado en la noche como la favorita.
