La Academia de las Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas anunció hoy las nominaciones a los premios Oscar. The Revenant, la nueva película de Alejandro González Iñárritu, recibió 12 nominaciones, mientras que Mad Max: Fury Road tuvo 10, incluyendo Mejor Película y Mejor Director.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens tuvo 4 nominaciones, incluyendo Mejor Banda Sonora para el maestro John Williams y Mejor Edición, pero no estuvo en las categorías principales a pesar de haberse convertido recientemente en la película más exitosa de todos los tiempos en Norteamérica.
Ridley Scott, director de “The Martian”, es una de las ausencias más notables en la categoría de Mejor Director. Su espacio lo ocupa Lenny Abrahamson, director de Room.
