Este año le tocó al estudio Lionsgate ponerle punto final a CinemaCon 2019, la convención para exhibidores de cine más grande de Estados Unidos, la cual se celebró del 1 al 4 de abril en Las Vegas, Nevada.
Para terminar en grande, el estudio detrás de películas anticipadas como Hellboy, Long Shot y John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum decidió sacar sus armas grandes, sorprendiendo a los presentes con una impresionante alineación de actores.
Entre los invitados estuvieron Seth Rogen y Charlize Theron, protagonistas de la comedia Long Shot. El dúo de actores subió al escenario para presentar un “screening” de la película para exhibidores y miembros de la prensa presentes en el Coliseo del Caesars Palace.
Halle Berry, co-protagonista de la secuela John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellu, también estuvo presente junto al director, Chad Stahelski.
Por otra parta, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ana de Armas y el director/guionista Rian Johnson también estuvieron allí para hablar de su nueva película, el “thriller” Knives Out. Este es solo parte de un enorme elenco que incluye a Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Toni Collette, Christopher Plummer, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon y Katherine Langford entre otros.
David Harbour, protagonista de la nueva adaptación de Hellboy, fue de los primeros en llegar al evento para hablar de su película, resaltando su clasificación “R”.
