El pasado 9 de enero de 2022, se dio a conocer los ganadores de la edición número 79 de los Golden Globe. Esta fue una edición inusual ya que no se transmitieron por ningún lado solo a través de las redes sociales de la pagina oficial de los Golden Globes Awards. No existió ninguna transmisión de televisión, transmisión en línea, nominados, invitados famosos, alfombra roja, anfitrión ni prensa. Una edición un poco peculiar.
The Power of the Dog y West Side Story, se alzaron como los más premiados en la noche, cada uno con tres reconocimientos.
